Elisabeth Secker

Managing Director

Elisabeth Secker joined the Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) as Managing Director in January 2018. Due to her prior function as Deputy Head of the Division Protection of Minors at the joint management office of the German media authorities in Berlin, she gained extensive experience in the field of Youth Protection of minors in the media. Before her position at the German media authorities she worked as Public Affairs Consultant for leading IT-companies in Berlin after finishing her studies in Communication Sciences at the University of Salzburg.

Marek Brunner

Marek Brunner

Head of the Test Department

Marek Brunner was born in Potsdam in 1975. He has a degree in media technology and became the USK’s first games tester in 1994. He took on overall responsibility for the Test Department in 2003. His tasks include the coordination of the department, the technical preparation of the games, the induction and selection of game testers and quality assurance with regard to game presentations.

Christine Schulz

Head of the Classification Department

Christine Schulz was born in Berlin in 1958. She has a degree in sociology and has both supported and helped shape the USK since it was established in 1994. In her capacity as Head of the Classification Department, she organises the classification procedure and meetings whilst also particularly focussing on the work of the child protection experts.

Lorenzo von Petersdorff / Legal Counsel

Lorenzo von Petersdorff, born in 1985, attained his law degree with media law as one main subject in Regensburg and finished his legal clerkship in Berlin. After a stint into the film production and distribution industry he joined the USK in 2015. His tasks include providing advice and supporting members of in all fields of online media (online and mobile games, social media, VOD, streaming, user generated content, …) in accordance with the Youth Media Protection State Agreement (JMStV). He is also responsible for any other legal business at the USK.

Felizitas Baum

Project Manager Communications

Felizitas Baum started working for the USK in 2015, initially in quality assurance for the IARC age classification process for youth protection on digital storefronts. In 2018, she became project manager communications, overseeing projects regarding the web presence, corporate design and social media.

Felizitas studied Media Design at RFH Cologne and Children‘s and Youth Media Studies at Universität Erfurt.

Lukas Neuerburg

IARC Manager

Lukas Neuerburg is a USK staff member since January 2016 and started out working in quality assurance for the youth media protection for IARC. Since early 2018 he manages and oversees daily operations of the IARC department at USK. Furthermore he is the go-to guy for all complaints regarding the age ratings for online games and apps. He also supports the social media work of USK.

Lukas has studied communication science and English studies (Bachelor) as well as Child- and Youth Media Studies (Master) at the university of Erfurt. His 3 facourite games are PLAYERUNKNOWN'S Battlegrounds, Rocket League and GTA V.

Björn Jahn

Project Manager

Björn Jahn studied Digital Media Culture at Filmuniversität Babelsberg with focus on videogames in his scientific work. In 2017 he joined the team as project manager. His tasks include customer relationship management, implementation of technical youth protection systems and work on internal projects at the USK.

Office Management

Cornelia Schülke, born in 1970, is a qualified travel management assistant. Since 2013, she is responsible for any guest relation and office management as well as event organization within the USK.
